Scott (he/they) is a queer autistic writer and Fine Art Masters graduate from Newcastle upon Tyne. They currently live in Sheffield with their partner and an energetic springer spaniel. Their writing has been published in The Write Launch, Odd Magazine, Untitled Voices, Pastel Pastoral, From the Farther Trees, Warning Lines, Small Leaf Press, Unstamatic, Stone of Madness Press, En*Gendered and Dif Zine. Scott's work was previously shortlisted for the 2016 Theatre Cloud ‘Tell a Tale’ Prize. Scott has also received mentoring from Bloomsbury Publishing, as part of the Cornerstones Elevate Mentor Scheme, and was a recipient of a 2021 ‘Michael Langan LGBTQ+ Free Read’ award from The Literary Consultancy. Most recently, their novel, The Widows of Culver Bay, was longlisted for the Penguin Michael Joseph Undiscovered Writers Prize. Scott is currently querying agents for their debut novel. In addition to writing, he is the founder and editor of the LGBTQIA+ online literary magazines Queerlings and Powders Press.
